Orchard demo conducted by our very own VP, Blake Slaybaugh.
The International Tree Fruit Association, invited us to be a stop on their Annual Winter tour. Our, VP, Blake Slaybaugh hosted the tours on our Piney Farm where we discussed pruning on High Density Plantings and our farm's experiences with some rootstocks. Pictured above is Blake in a block of our honeycrisp.
"At Mt. Ridge Farms in Biglerville the Slaybaugh family showed IFTA some pruning techniques they use in a Honeycrisp block on various rootstocks, and they showed their impressive farm machinery repair facility, which looks equipped to fix just about anything that breaks down."

Noble Orchards- Mt Ridge's software developer
Mt Ridge has ben working with Michael Constantino for years now to develop several software solutions to the farming operation. Currently, Mt Ridge, is using 2 different software databases to manager their production and pesticide applications. We have noticed a huge productivity increase with the implementation of these programs.
